• The per night rate for 2 people is $210 plus gst, children under 2 stay free.
• This increases to $230 plus gst per night on certain high season dates, as set in the booking calendar.
• If you have 1 or 2 more guests, use of the Queen sofa bed and all linen is included, for an additional $30 per night per person, plus gst.
• A once only cleaning fee of $50 plus gst applies to all bookings, which covers basic cleaning and laundry.  Added wear and tear (or damage) will be charged after departure, if necessary.
• When in doubt, please call to talk before you leave, or call to advise an issue on your arrival.  Text a photo to 0419 977 535 (which will then be date & time stamped).
• An invoice will be issued to the Renter, who is liable for all payments.

On Reservation – Booking Deposit of 50% of the full fee

Cleaning Fee       – $50 charged 50/50 on reservation and 4 days before check-in

Cancellation Fees:

More than 30 days prior to check-in – there is no cancellation fee

4 – 30 days prior to check-in – there is a 50% cancellation fee

3 or less days before check-in – there is a 100% cancellation fee.

No Shows – there is no refund.

A 12% discount is offered for bookings in excess of1week (7 nights), or 15% discount for bookings in excess of 28 nights, with only the single cleaning fee applied at the end of the booking period.

These discounts do not apply to bookings that include NSW school holidays or NSW public holidays.

• The King size bed also has electric blankets in the colder months.

The Shack is co-located with The Barn – which hosts occasional events, plus St Albans Village Market on just 10 Sundays each year.

(Wherever possible, you will have been advised in advance of any booked events, and the Market dates, but it is always possible that there will be an event occurring during your residency.  You might well be the organiser or a participant!)

If you are coming from NW Sydney, just follow Old Northern Road to the bottom of the hill at Wisemans Ferry.

Then turn LEFT past the Police Station for 200m and alight the Webbs Creek Ferry.

4 mins later, turn RIGHT onto sealed St Albans Rd for a 21km beautiful scenic drive.

• Check in 3pm – Check Out 11am
• The key to the front door is held in a locked box outside the back door – as that is where most guests park and unload)
• The reason for this is that the back sliding door has a deadlock, with a key left inserted on the inside for safety reasons – which does not permit a key to be inserted from the outside.
• The code for the box will be provided once all payments are received prior to your check in date – usually 2 days prior.

There is an awesome playground diagonally opposite, and there is lots of open ground surrounding The Shack to burn off all that energy.   So bring your bikes, balls and kids.

Whilst Events are catered for at The Barn adjacent to The Shack (email us to enquire), parties are not permitted inside the Shack itself – unless they are small dinner parties, which are more intimate and so much easier to clean up!

The Shack is set up with glassware and crockery for up to 6 people, aimed at use of the undercover picnic table on the back deck – where there’s also a small bbq, however only 4 people (plus an under 2 years old) may sleep onsite at any one time.

Undisclosed overnight guests will not be covered by our insurance and will be asked t leave.

Wisemans Ferry Services

Sorry, but no – as our insurance strictly prohibits any fires anywhere on the property.

There is a bbq on the rear verandah, with shaded seating.

• The Shack is almost totally off grid, except for connection to power.
• We harvest rainwater, and filter it at the source.
• We utilise a septic waste system, with an accredited absorption pit.
• We ask that guests sort their rubbish into recyclables and general waste.

The Shack acknowledges the Darug and Darkinjung people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Hawkesbury and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
