A clever meld of rustic history outside with modern comfort and style inside, perfectly located in the centre of the village.

The Shack was a tranquil haven after days of exploring the numerous walk-tracks nearby.

The host, Diana, was exceptionally helpful and supportive whilst providing suggestions on local events and activities.

My wife and I stayed at the Shack for a bike riding weekend.

The cabin is beautifully rustic on the outside but newly renovated, extremely spacious (with a proper king sized bed) and having all the conveniences needed on the inside.

The deck out back was a great spot to relax in the afternoon sun.

50m to the St Albans pub, Pickled Wombat Cafe and the river.

Would definitely come back.

Perfect short stay location and Diana was such a wonderful host.

The Shack was central to local eatery, pub and surrounding National Parks for biking and hiking.

So easy to access the NP via Eight Mile Track to Old Northern Road to Wisemans Ferry back along Settlers Road.

Also easy ride to St Albans Common and beyond to enjoy Lake Mogo area.
